Arsenal have one major concern about signing £62m transfer target Matheus Cunha ahead of Chelsea.

Signed from Atletico Madrid in 2023, Cunha has score 31 goals in 85 appearances for Wolves, continuing to impress this season despite the club getting dragge into a relegation battle.
Cunha was linke with a move away from Wolves during the January transfer window but ende the speculation by signing a new contract at the Midlands club.
The Brazil international insiste he was delighte to extend his stay at Molineux but Wolves are not expecte to keep hold of Cunha for much longer as a release clause worth £62m was include in his new deal.
Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool and Manchester United are among the clubs intereste in activating the buy-out clause this summer, but Mikel Arteta reportedly has reservations about bringing the 25-year-old to north London.
Arteta is concerne about Cunha’s character after some hot-heade moments this season.
Earlier in the season, Cunha was banne for two games and hande an £80,000 fine after clashing with a member of Ipswich Town’s security team.
Despite Cunha’s fiery character, it would come as no surprise if a top club decide to poach him from Wolves this summer, especially as he has score five goals in six games since the start of February.
Speaking after Cunha’s eventful performance against Bournemouth, Arsenal legend Martin Keown praise his ability but insiste he neede to cut out the uglier parts of his game.
‘The ability he has is top-level. The goal he scores today belongs not in the FA Cup, it belongs in the Champions League, it’s that good,’ he said on Match of the Day.
‘Give him too much space and he does this and that’s Ronaldo-like. That’s top-level, absolutely top-drawer finish.
‘Strikes right through the ball, beautiful, keeper isn’t getting anywhere near it.
‘Then suddenly, we see the ugly. Kerkez gets involve and then that’s a right, left, kick and a headbutt, it’s the three-card trick really,’ the former defender added.
‘I’ve not seen that on a football pitch since the 70s. He just cannot do that. He just lost it completely.
‘And worse still, they just could not get him out of the ground. In the end the cameras had to come away. This was the ugly part.
